 Privacy Legislation
We set out below how we handle your personal information. Under our Service Level Statement we also provide a summary of the National privacy Principles which will affect most businesses.

The National Privacy principles and further information about the new privacy legislation can be obtained from the privacy Commissioner's website at www.privacy.gov.au.

Our supporting law firms are currently assisting organisations to audit their personal information gathering activities and to develop processes to ensure that they will comply with the new legislation. If you feel your company could benefit and would like assistance to ensure your company is privacy-compliant, please contact us at info@legalaccess.com.au.

How we handle your personal information.

We collect your e-mail address, telephone number and enquiry details when you complete an online advice enquiry. We then use that information to select a law firm appropriate to handle your enquiry and to advise you.

Your personal information is kept securely and we do not pass it on to anyone other than our supporting law firm.

You can always access the information you sent us. We hold the information for at least six years and after that it may be destroyed.
